Moses getting angry and striking the rock forcefully instead of touching it as he was instructed?

Moreso the grumbling of the Israelites when they should have been grateful. The comment from my friend was on how she used to find it easy to judge the Israelites, but the older she gets the more she realizes how she's like them, and is grateful to be part of the same story and a recipient of the same mercy.

Kate, what a wonderful journey though grumbling and doubt to faith and praise. I especially like the sound and image: “yet when the sun and all the dead have risen”!
